Call Of Nature on Oakwynd

  Naggy's dead! On our second trip to his lair, Lord Nagafen fell to our mighty adventurers! After Naggy gave up his treasures, he disappeared into the ethos leaving behind our force of raiders. We rightfully took our place on the throne.  Before killing Lord Nagafen, we took on his mate again, and bested Lady Vox as well. We gained many treasures from the Dragons and still had more time in our day! Called to Fish Many of us then we went to Kedge Keep for a spot of fishing. A star in his own watery world... The fishman was peacefully minding his own business... He went down fast, but, sadly no spine. He did give up his robe, though, so that was a win. 

 Kunark is unlocked on Oakwynd! On 20 July 2023, Kunark unlocked on Oakwynd. There were multiple locations of line-ups: the docks in Butcherblock, the dock in South Ro, and the spell sellers for druid and wizard ports. The 'good' races piled up in Butcherblock and the 'evil' in South Ro.  A mix of races clumped around the gypsy waiting to buy their transportation spells. Which one is Wind of the South again?  In Butchblock, the shuttles and transporter appeared and the crowd began to thin as they could get the attention of the transporter.  It was exciting to be a part of the expansion unlocking on a TLP. I've only experienced expansions becoming available on Live servers. No line-ups in Norrath on Live because the expansion is available after a long day of patching.  Calling Iksar Some members of the guild used race change potions to transform their Classic era characters into Iksar.   Call of Nature has taken on their first dragons and were triumphant against Lady Vox!  We had a full raid of eager adventurers join us on Saturday for a "Double Dragon" event, our first official Raid for Call of Nature. We were successful against Lady Vox but Lord Nagafen proved a bit more difficult as our raiders were tiring from the onslaught.  I got to level 46 Friday morning so joined on the dragon hunt as well as a trip to Plane of Fear on Friday (more on that below).  I had a 'great view' while waiting for the pullers to help us work down the giants before we took on Lady Vox herself.  Through the fight, my sword was sheathed as I took out my lute and did the important job of singing mana and resists to healers.  The loot from Lady Vox included two White Dragon Hides, a Dragon Bone Bracelet, and a White Dragon Scale that went to our Bardic Champion (I'll roll on the next one we get).   Many in the guild have been continuing to go on excursions into the Planes of Sky, Hate, and Fear, to get gear and see how far we can spread the Call.  While I haven't yet been able to join the guild excursions, Plane of Sky was always one of my favourites in the past if only for the way you leave. Fly! Be Free! The leap over the edge, or fall backward, or just plumet with that 'look' on your face while your pet just floats without a care in the world, is such fun! Only to land in the bay of Freeport... ewwwwww. On the latest excursion, our brave adventurers were able to get to Island 6! We're marching toward the unlocking of Kunark later this month. We'll be taking on Dragons soon, too. Every day we still add new members (and new alts of new and old members 😁).  From 1 July to 9 July, 296 characters characters were actively doing something in Norrath, most of them taking advantage of the XP bonus that was on all week!   This weekend has two big North American holidays celebrating the founding of two countries. July 1st is Canada Day and July 4th is US Independance Day. It's a long weekend for most in those two countries and the real start of Summer for more. To celebrate the real world festivities, Daybreak Games have bonus XP (and other bonus) in their games. Several characters in Call of Nature have already gained several levels this weekend on their progress to 50.  Additionally, our Champions lead excursions into Hate and Fear to look for better gear to equip those who are able to join them in the Planes. For some, this is their first excursion into these places. Many are unlikely to forget their up close and personal encounters.  And the Fright they faced. Conqueror Fear and Hate to get better stuff. Set sail for adventure!!
